Twenty-five years in sustainability in the natural resources sector. He was Sustainability Director at Mineros and Sustainability Manager at Soma Gold Corp, with experience at Pan American Silver (Guatemala) and Cerro Matoso (South32). He has led the social viability of mining projects and the prevention of operational stoppages caused by social and environmental conflicts.
He applied social license measurement using the Thomson–Boutilier model at Colombian mining operations, work he presented as a keynote paper at the Sustainable Mining 2025 congress. Today he leads the firm’s engagements in mining formalization, social risks and ESG, and investment due diligence.
